- Now in its fourth edition, ART SG, Southeast Asia’s leading international art fair presented by Founding and Lead Partner UBS, expands its platform as it welcomes S.E.A. Focus for the first time, bringing together 106 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and territories. With expanded partnerships and programming, the fair continues to reinforce its position as a key platform for contemporary art in the region and beyond.
- Marking its debut at ART SG, S.E.A. Focus will offer a distinctive curatorial platform under the theme The Humane Agency, spotlighting Southeast Asian contemporary art and artists as agents of compassion.
- ART SG and UBS launches the ART SG FUTURES Prize presented by UBS, to an outstanding emerging artist featured in the FUTURES sector, further advancing its commitment to enriching the community through art’s transformative power.
- Building on its inaugural edition, the SAM ART SG Fund, a benefactor-led initiative, returns for a second year to support acquisitions of works by artists at ART SG 2026 for Singapore Art Museum’s collection of international contemporary art from a Southeast Asian perspective.
- In a first-of-its-kind cultural sponsorship, the TVS Initiative for Indian and South Asian Contemporary Art, curatorially advised by Studio Public Memory, led by Srinivas Aditya Mopidevi, will place a robust spotlight on contemporary art practices hailing from India and South Asia.
- The UBS Art Collection will present Indonesian performance artist Melati Suryodarmo’s I Love You (2007) at the UBS Art Studio on Level 1 of the fair.
- As part of a new curatorial collaboration with Rockbund Art Museum (RAM), Shanghai, X-Zhu Nowell, Executive Director and Chief Curator of RAM, will serve as ART SG’s Film and Performance Art Curator, marking the introduction of a dedicated Performance Art sector at the fair. The collaboration will also present Wan Hai Hotel: Singapore Strait (translated as “Circumnavigating the Sea”)’ in Singapore, the latest evolution of this innovative exhibition model, marking the first presentation outside Shanghai and first of its kind immersive staging within a heritage hotel space.
- New Cultural Partner The Institutum will feature its inaugural collaboration with Hampi Art Labs, a new landmark residency program based in UNESCO heritage site Hampi, Karnataka, India, showcasing works centering around ecological research by artists Robert Zhao and Atul Bhalla.
- Visitors can experience an expanded programme of events and activations across Singapore Art Week, presented by the city’s leading visual art museums, private collections, and cultural partners.
