How We Hold What’s Possible — Movement II, curated by Victor Wang, is the second chapter of a three-year collaboration between acclaimed Thai artist Pinaree Sanpitak and Artspace, Sydney. In Singapore, Sanpitak transforms the upper floor of 72-13, a heritage building formerly a rice warehouse and now the home of acclaimed transdisciplinary arts company and Presenting Partner T:>Works, into a living environment where artworks meet plants, scent, food, performance and conversation. Bringing together works spanning more than four decades of her practice, the exhibition explores the body as a site for connection, contemplation and exchange. A new activation of Breast Stupa Cookery with Chef Ivan Brehm of Nouri Restaurant extends this exploration through food and hospitality. Across eleven days, the space continually evolves through gatherings, performances, conversations and encounters.
“This project is not about just the paintings, sculptures or Breast Stupa Cookery. It is a gathering place for the artworks, people, food, talks, exchange, connections or just to spend time quietly. One of the paintings’ titled Gathering Tables Gather depicts the gathering table “rooted” with breast clouds, a breast stupas, an offering vessel, a breast vessel, all connected…
The unique structure and history of the space as a rice warehouse also lends to the selection of sculptural objects and ingredients in the food and flower arrangement. Floating, concealing, sharing, welcoming. The stories that will rise, the dialogues that will happen, the movements that will vibrate in these 11 days is the core intention.”

“I’ve always believed that the most meaningful collaborations with artists are built over time. Built on trust and a shared curiosity, we are embarking on a three-year journey with Pinaree Sanpitak that will unfold across Sydney and Singapore. Pinaree’s practice carries decades of connection across Australia, Southeast Asia and the wider Asia-Pacific, and this project is a way of honouring those histories while creating new ones. For Pinaree and me, it is also about connecting our communities across Thailand, Australia, and Singapore, and making space for people in Singapore to join the conversation, to gather, share, eat, listen and contribute.”
