Eko Nugroho: We Are Here Now
The UBS Art Collection commissioned Eko Nugroho to create the interactive project We Are Here Now for the UBS Art Studio, a dedicated public activation space on level 1 of the fair near the ART SG VIP Lounge.
The project addresses increased waste production while calling for action. We Are Here Now features three sculptures, two of which were made mainly with recycled materials collected from Nugroho’s hometown, Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Smith & Winken is a studio laboratory created in 2020 by Valery Kuznetsov (Smith) and Otto Winken – two designers with a solid professional background and immense experience in architecture and product design. Their kinetic sculptures are a beautiful blend of mechanical and organic, analogue and technological, retro and futuristic. These “living organisms” come from both the distant past and the unpredictable future, beckoning you to explore a timeless dance of creativity.

Royal Salute, the master of exceptionally aged Scotch whisky, has revealed the second edition in its Art of Wonder collection: the Royal Salute Time Chamber by Conrad Shawcross. View the exceptional art piece and the limited-edition bottle at the Royal Salute booth within the ART SG VIP Lounge.
For this second iteration in the Art of Wonder series, world-renowned sculptor, Conrad Shawcross, wanted to showcase the link between the concept of time in the realm of fine art and in luxury whisky. The resulting piece, the Royal Salute Time Chamber by Conrad Shawcross, released in an extremely limited quantity of just 21, merges a hand-spun glass disc with a crystal decanter and has been created to both represent time’s many dimensions and hold a bespoke 53 Year Old Royal Salute blend.
The series of exceptional art pieces, created to accompany exceptional blends, sees partnerships with some of today’s most visionary artists, who are invited to take inspiration from the art of whisky blending to create a lasting tribute to the transformative power of creativity.

SHANGHAI TANG announces a collaboration with esteemed multimedia artist Jacky Tsai for an exclusive exhibition titled ‘The Return of the Tang Dragon’ at SHANGHAI TANG Marina Bay Sands store. 2024 marks the brand’s 30th anniversary, which is also the ten-year anniversary since its initial collaboration with the artist. The exhibition is scheduled from 16th to 21st January 2024, offering a unique and immersive art and cultural experience that celebrates the spirit of auspicious dragon.
