The TVS Initiative for Indian and South Asian Contemporary Art at ART SG places a spotlight on contemporary art practices hailing from the South Asian region. Curatorially advised by Studio Public Memory, led by Srinivas Aditya Mopidevi, this initiative brings South Asia’s rich artistic perspectives and cultural narratives into focus, anchored by ‘South Asia Insights’, a dedicated pavilion showcasing works from prominent galleries.

The galleries are: Aicon, Gajah Gallery, Gallery Art Positive, LATITUDE 28, Nature Morte, Sakshi Gallery, Sundaram Tagore Gallery and Vadehra Art Gallery.

The initiative is further anchored by an artist talk with Jitish Kallat, one of India’s most influential contemporary voices, whose work reflects sustained engagement with time, history, and the idea of progress.
